Helsinki Day 12.6.

As is traditional, Helsinki Day will be celebrated on 12 June. We have, in fact, celebrated Helsinki’s anniversary ever since 1959. There's a promise of a relaxed Sunday in parks, blocks of houses and courtyards throughout the city.

Helsinki Day stands for home town paths, picnic utopia, free swimming baths, living statues, literature, theatre, open houses, concerts, exercise, sea trips and green life. Not to mention the services of the Flirting Clinic.

The City Hall will be buzzing with life all day. The first item on the programme is morning coffee with compliments of the Mayor and the last one is the Guards Band’s ball in the banquet hall.
